Vote FOR Water and Land
The Vote FOR Water and Land Political Committee is comprised of dedicated volunteer citizens from across the community and two non-profit organizations, Manatee Fish & Game Association and Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast.
This citizen-led effort is working to provide crucial funding to protect water and preserve Manatee County’s finest natural places. But as our county continues to develop, the clean water and beautiful natural areas that drew us here in the first place are disappearing fast.
Manatee County voters can protect our clean water and wildlife habitat by voting this November FOR the referendum on the ballot entitled “Water Quality Protection, Fish and Wildlife Habitat Preservation, and Park Ad Valorem Tax Bonds.”
Manatee Fish & Game Association and Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast have partnered successfully in Manatee County to permanently protect Felts Audubon Preserve and Johnson Preserve at Braden River.
If approved by Manatee County voters, the referendum will preserve Manatee County’s natural beauty for future generations, so our children and grandchildren can enjoy them the way we do.
Founding Organizations

The Manatee Fish and Game Association, as Stewards Conserving Our Resources and Environment (SCORE), proactively participate with the community by leading, advising, funding, educating, promoting, practicing, and modeling sound practices to conserve fish and wildlife and its habitat.

The mission of Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast is to protect the land and water of Southwest Florida for the benefit of people and nature.
